pollo pomo d'oro

Hello everyone! Thank you for dropping by and welcoming my first post, in this foodie wannabe blog. The truth is, i've been wanting to start a food blog for so long a time now, not for anything else but just share some of the things i do in the kitchen. What finally made me do this? Sadly, it is because i found out i can't get into my blog anymore, i lost and can't remember my password. So here i am with my all new food blog! Yohoo, i hope you enjoy it too!

As an opener, may i present a very own experiment of mine i call Pollo pomo d'oro -a simple and saucy chicken dish.yummy indeed.

Pollo Pomo d'oro is chicken thighs marinated for five hours in a pot, with huge, saucy, peeled tomatoes with a mix of heavenly herbs- depending on what's in your cupboards (in my case, basil and dried oregano), three tablespoon of unfiltered honey, fish sauce (according to taste) and white pepper.

How to cook? Very, very, very simple. Just put the pot with the chicken on the stove and let boil. Add red onions. Taste sauce for saltiness. If it's a bot bland, add some more fish sauce, or a dash of iodized salt. When it starts boiling, check to see if the chicken thighs are tender then simmer.

Serve hot and saucy. Best with a slice of french baguette. There you go. Simple and guaranteed heavenly delicious! There will be madness on the dining table i promise!
